Metabolic damage

Sugar, in order to be assimilated, removes important vitamins and minerals from our body such as calcium, so much so that the consequences of this process are the weakening of bones, teeth, the appearance of arthritis, arthrosis and osteoporosis and dental caries.

White sugar * also destroys the B vitamins and causes weight gain as already 5 minutes after taking it stimulates insulin, which is the hormone that presides over the synthesis of fats in the tissues.

Consuming sugar causes an increased susceptibility to severe metabolic diseases such as diabetes.

* Sugar to become white as we know it undergoes a large number of chemical and industrial processes: it is purified with lime, treated with carbon dioxide, sulphurous acid, cooked, cooled, crystallized, centrifuged, filtered, decoloured with animal charcoal and colored with dyes (some of which derive from tar and carcinogens). All this to make it so white and shiny.
